En el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, ha tenido lugar la presentación oficial del I Congreso Internacional de Ciberdelincuencia Cybercrime Sevilla, organizado por este Colegio de Abogados y la Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO). Participarán más de 30 ponentes, entre ellos el presidente de la Sala Segunda del Tribunal Supremo, Manuel Marchena; el también magistrado del Supremo Pablo Llarena; el juez de la Audiencia Nacional Daniel González. El evento fue presentado por nuestro decano, Óscar Fernández León; el decano de Derecho de la UPO, César Hornero; la catedrática de Derecho Penal de la UPO Viviana Caruso; el abogado especializado en delitos informáticos Francisco Pélaez y el concejal de Transformación Digital, Juan Bueno.
“Somos conscientes de que la mejor política de ciberseguridad está en el conocimiento de la ciberdelincuencia para poder atajarla, de ahí la importancia de este Congreso”, recalcó Bueno. “Hoy día nadie está a salvo de la ciberdelincuencia”, avisó. A continuación hablaron los dos decanos, quienes destacaron la importancia de este congreso porque aporta un enfoque multidisciplinar para abordar “los desafíos actuales de la ciberdelincuencia desde una triple vertiente: la académica, la jurídico-práctica y la tecnológica”. “Este enfoque integral va a permitir ofrecer una visión completa de las dinámicas actuales en materia de ciberdelincuencia enfatizando la importancia de la colaboración entre el ámbito académico, los profesionales del derecho y los expertos en tecnología”, explicaron Hornero y Fernández León.
